DIRECTOR JENNIFER SCHWEPPE

Project producer, director, and co-writer Jennifer Schweppe has worked as a documentary editor and producer for the last decade. She has edited multiple independent film projects selected for major film festivals like SXSW and TIFF, and has been shown on Vermont PBS. In addition to her editing work, Jen held roles in content strategy, cinematography, and production. Jen has a deep interest in art and the exploration of how human relationships can be portrayed and elevated through the medium of filmmaking.

PRODUCER LAUREN SCHWEPPE

Working in the advocacy space for nearly 15 years, Lauren has focused her professional career on supporting and uplifting the safety and success of marginalized communities. She began her career working in power-based personal violence prevention, educating college students on harm prevention through bystander intervention. Lauren continued this work through a collaboration with the US State Department and Middlebury College to host sports empowerment programs focused on education and leadership for young women in India at high risk of human trafficking. Lauren has also worked with LGBTQ+ small business owners to scale and grow their businesses, and advises companies on how to create more inclusive environments for diverse employees.

PRODUCER JACKIE PAULEY

Award-winning producer and co-writer Jackie Pauley brings 10 years of documentary storytelling and reporting experience to the team. Her work has focused primarily on the criminal justice and legal system, and has topped the Spotify and Apple Podcast charts.
